We are looking for a Tax Analyst to join our finance team. This role will focus primarily on indirect tax compliance while supporting the overall function by assisting with federal income and multi-state tax compliance efforts and being involved in various other tax projects and initiatives. The full base pay range for this role is between $79,500 and $132,500.

About the role:
We are looking for a Tax Analyst to join our finance team. This role will focus primarily on indirect tax compliance while supporting the overall function by assisting with federal income and multi-state tax compliance efforts and being involved in various other tax projects and initiatives. What you’ll achieve:
- Responsible for monthly Sales and Use Tax reporting for multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare tax account reconciliations and journal entries for sales tax-related general ledger accounts.
- Provide responses to indirect taxing jurisdiction notices and inquires
- Assist with indirect tax audits with multiple tax jurisdictions
- Maintain and prepare state tax registrations and business license renewals as needed.
- Prepare annual property tax return filings.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Participate in and prepare supporting schedules for the tax provision.
- Potential for growth in international tax matters based on interest and performance.
- Manage and engage in other tasks and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tax/Accounting or related field, with an emphasis in Taxation and/or Accounting.
- Basic educational knowledge of one or more of the following tax areas: sales and use tax, corporate federal income tax, and multi-state income tax.
- 2 years of experience in tax, preferably with a focus on indirect tax compliance; public accounting experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and proactively communicate.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems, Avalara, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter, capable of working independently with strong initiative and flexibility.
