Amped Up Fun Factory is a high-energy indoor family entertainment center where families come to play, celebrate birthdays, enjoy food, and create unforgettable memories. We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to help lead our team and keep the facility operating at its best.

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in daily operations, team leadership, customer service, safety, parties and events, admissions, and the Break Room Eatery. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Help lead, train, and motivate employees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with employee scheduling, breaks, daily assignments, and shift coverage.
  • Hold team members accountable to company policies and performance expectations.
  • Lead by example with a positive, professional, and energetic attitude.
  • Help train new employees on facility procedures, customer service, safety, parties, and food service.
  • Address employee concerns and performance issues professionally and report major issues to management.

Daily Operations

  • Assist with opening and closing the facility.
  • Oversee daily operations when the General Manager or Owner is unavailable.
  • Make sure all areas of the facility are clean, organized, stocked, and ready for guests.
  • Monitor admission sales, memberships, party bookings, food sales, and other daily activities.
  • Assist with cash handling, register procedures, deposits, and end-of-day reporting.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies or products need to be reordered.
  • Help maintain a fun, clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every guest.

Customer Service

  • Provide outstanding customer service to children, parents, and families.
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
  • Help create a positive experience from the moment guests enter until they leave.
  • Assist customers with memberships, admissions, waivers, parties, and general questions.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude even during busy periods.

Parties & Events

  • Help oversee birthday parties, private events, group events, and special promotions.
  • Ensure party rooms are properly prepared before guests arrive.
  • Make sure parties stay on schedule and guests receive the service they were promised.
  • Assist party hosts and employees when additional support is needed.
  • Help resolve party-related issues quickly and professionally.

Safety

  • Help maintain a safe environment for children, families, and employees.
  • Monitor play areas and ensure employees are following safety procedures.
  • Perform routine inspections of attractions and play areas.
  • Immediately report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or other hazards.
  • Follow and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Respond appropriately to accidents, injuries, emergencies, and other incidents.

Break Room Eatery

  • Assist with daily food and beverage operations.
  • Ensure food is prepared and served according to company standards.
  • Monitor food quality, cleanliness, inventory, and proper food-handling procedures.
  • Help maintain clean and organized food-service areas.
  • Assist with inventory and product restocking.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
  • Enjoys working with children and families.
  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Can confidently lead a team in a busy environment.
  • Is dependable, responsible, and willing to take initiative.
  • Can multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems.
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Is willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy event days as needed.
  • Is comfortable being on their feet and actively working throughout their shift.
  • Understands that this is a hands-on management position, not a desk-only job.

What Success Looks Like

A successful Assistant Manager will help ensure that:

  • Guests have an amazing experience every time they visit.
  • Employees know what is expected of them and work as a team.
  • Parties and events run smoothly and on schedule.
  • The facility remains clean, safe, and organized.
  • Customers' concerns are handled quickly and professionally.
  • Sales and operational goals are supported.
  • The team maintains the fun, energetic atmosphere that makes Amped Up Fun Factory different.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently move throughout a large indoor entertainment facility.
