Role Description The Personal Training Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Casselberry, FL. This position oversees the personal training department, including managing trainers’ schedules, monitoring client programs, and ensuring high-quality fitness coaching and member engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring personal trainers, conducting assessments and consultations, developing individualized training plans, and supporting sales of training packages. The role also involves maintaining a safe, welcoming training environment, collaborating with club leadership on performance targets, and promoting Amped Fitness programs and events to drive member participation and retention.
Qualifications
- Strong personal training expertise, including Personal Training, Training, and Fitness Training skills.
- Solid knowledge of the Fitness Industry and current best practices in exercise programming and member experience.
- Relevant certification such as U.S. National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) or comparable nationally recognized credential.
- Proven experience managing or leading a training team in a fitness or wellness environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to set goals, track performance, and use basic business metrics to guide decisions.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- CPR/AED certification and commitment to maintaining a safe training environment.
