Project Coordinator (Construction)
Amped Electric, Inc. – Fairbanks, Alaska
Amped Electric is hiring a Project Coordinator to help keep active construction projects organized and moving.
This is not a passive admin role—we are looking for someone who can track details, follow up consistently, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
This position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska and works directly with our General Manager and field teams.
What You’ll Do
- Track and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Follow up with field staff, vendors, and customers to keep projects moving
- Keep multiple active projects organized and on schedule
- Support scheduling, material coordination, and task tracking
- Maintain clean, accurate, up-to-date project files
- Identify delays or gaps early and bring them forward
Who This Role Is For
- You are highly organized and naturally follow through until things are done
- You are comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once
- You don’t need constant direction to stay productive
- You take ownership of your work and care about accuracy
This Role Is NOT a Fit If
- You are looking for a purely clerical or low-responsibility admin role
- You prefer clearly defined tasks with little variation
- You struggle to stay organized without close supervision
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Basic computer skills (Excel, email, document tracking)
- Experience in construction or a related field preferred
Nice to Have (not required):
- Electrical or contractor experience
- Familiarity with construction drawings or project documents
- Experience with project management tools
Compensation & Benefits
- $55,000 – $75,000 DOE
