Job Title: Senior IT Data Engineer
Locations: NW Washington, DC
Job Description:
- At least seven years of experience evaluating, working in production environments with cloud data systems, including RDBMs, data warehouses, data lakes, data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to implement and manage cloud-based data and big data systems including: Amazon Aurora, Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift.
- Ability to use infrastructure as code (IaC) such as Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation to build and configure data systems as part of a DevOps program.
- Ability to implement and manage hybrid data systems including a mixture of cloud and on-premises data systems such as MS SQL Server.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
Certifications:
- AWS Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional
- AWS Data Engineer - Associate
- AWS Developer - Associate
Experience:
- Experience with RDBMs, NoSQL databases.
