What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety & Security Consultant position at Ampcus Inc?
1. Executive Protection Services
The consultant shall support the planning, coordination, and assessment of executive security programs for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other designated executives. Services may include protective intelligence reviews, route assessments, advance planning, transportation security reviews, venue assessments, lodging reviews, movementplanning recommendations, and coordination with stakeholders. The consultant shall provide risk-based recommendations and planning guidance to ISO New England leadership and any designated security providers. The consultant shall not provide direct executive protection services, maintain a protective presence, escort executives, or perform protective operations during executive travel, public appearances, meetings, board functions, conferences, speaking engagements, or other high-profile events.
2. Event Security Planning and Operations
The consultant shall develop and review comprehensive event security programs for corporate meetings, executive events, board meetings, conferences, customer events, and special engagements. Responsibilities include security planning, venue assessments, staffing recommendations, access control recommendations, credentialing processes, communications planning, emergency procedures, and contingency planning. The consultant shall coordinate with venue operators, contract security personnel, law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, transportation providers, and event organizers in an advisory capacity to support the safe execution of events.
3. On-Site Physical Security and Protective Operations
The consultant may attend designated events, executive engagements, and special assignments to provide on-site advisory support, observe operations, assess evolving risks, and provide recommendations to leadership. Responsibilities may include:
- Observing security operations and providing recommendations.
- Assessing venue conditions and emerging risks.
- Reviewing implementation of security plans.
- Supporting stakeholder coordination and communications.
- Providing real-time risk assessments and advisory recommendations.
- Documenting observations and opportunities for improvement.
- The consultant shall not function as a security officer, executive protection agent, or operational security resource and shall not perform escorts, access control, screening, security sweeps, crowd management, transportation security operations, incident response, or other direct security activities.
