• 1 years of hands-on laptop and desktop break-fix experience
• Own reliable vehicle and car insurance
• Reliable transportation for travel throughout the metro and surrounding areas
  
  

Job Description:

As a Field Computer Technician, you will be responsible for repairing laptops, desktops, and related peripherals at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair laptops and desktops.
• Replace hard drives, motherboards, keyboards, and other components.
• Perform whole-unit swaps.
• Repair or replace PC peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
• Close service tickets in real time using a company-provided phone.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• A Certification.
• 1 years of hands-on laptop and desktop break-fix experience.
• General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Ability to resolve basic/non-complex technical issues.
• Reliable transportation and valid car insurance.
• Ability to complete required product training.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer-building experience.
• Experience diagnosing laptops and PCs.
• Experience replacing motherboards and LCDs.
  
  

Additional Requirements:

• Extensive driving may be required, including trips of 2-3 hours to customer locations.
• Must be comfortable using a mobile device for real-time reporting, ticket updates, and documentation.
• Must be willing to work beyond the scheduled shift when required.
• Business casual dress code is required.
• Additional certifications may be required after selection.
