We are seeking a versatile, business-minded Corporate Counsel to work out of our Chantilly, Virginia office. This individual will be a key strategic partner, splitting their time between managing multi-state Labor & Employment (L&E) compliance and driving our Commercial Transactions. The ideal candidate can confidently advise HR on complex labor issues, manage out-of-state outside counsel, and efficiently negotiate vendor and customer contracts to accelerate business growth.

The ideal candidate can confidently advise HR on complex labor issues, manage out-of-state outside counsel, and efficiently negotiate vendor and customer contracts to accelerate business growth.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Commercial, Vendor & Customer Contract Negotiations.
- Review, redline, and negotiate a high volume of inbound supplier agreements, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and customer-facing sales contracts.
- Risk Allocation: Identify and mitigate unfavorable terms regarding limitation of liability, indemnification, intellectual property ownership, and data privacy.
- Process Optimization: Maintain and scale company contract templates, playbooks, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to streamline sales and procurement workflows.
- Multi-State Employment Law & Compliance Multi-State Advising: Provide real-time advice to HR and executive leadership on hiring, wage/hour classification, performance management, and terminations across all operating states.
- Enforce local corporate adherence to the Virginia Values Act, state worker misclassification rules, and Virginia's strict limitations on non-compete covenants.
- Lead or provide legal oversight for internal investigations involving employee claims of harassment, discrimination, or whistleblower retaliation.
- Experience: 5 years of experience with commercial drafting and employment law counseling.
