- Assists in IT PMO with ensuring stakeholder adherence to governance processes. Supports the creation of bi-weekly governance report; reviews and tracks all project governance milestones, maintains a log and furnishes statistics on relevant governance activities.
- Maintains a calendar and schedules governance meetings, produces meeting minutes and publishes communications for various levels of stakeholders. Communications include meeting announcements, minutes, voting results and action requests.
- Creates and maintains reports on key governance activities.
- Defines and documents customer business functions and processes (utilizing Visio) and documents functional and business requirements.
- Documents require traceability throughout project lifecycle; this includes business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, diagrams, flow charts, etc.; ensures that these deliverables can be used to design a solution to the stated business problem.
- Manages requirements traceability and oversees the entire requirements management process.
- Assists project manager with project documentation creation and/or updates to facilitate project compliance with internal governance procedures.
- Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants, and other governmental organizations, in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of case management systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Ensures stakeholders and/or system owners understand system functionalities, logical and physical models, security requirements, and priority relative to the mortgage securitization business.
- Interacts with contractors to understand and document interconnections, as well as ensure seamless transaction processing.
- Ensure that stakeholders have access to business analysis work products.
- Plans, organizes, and conducts business process reengineering/improvement projects to projects requiring strategic analysis of an entire process or operating area where specific issues or items to be corrected, examined, or recommended have not been identified.
- Independently makes proposals or forms recommendations, develops, and presents viable solutions, and ensures agreement across all stakeholders.
- Assesses solutions to ensure that strategic goals are met, and requirements are satisfied, including assessment of Request for proposal (RFP) responses, internal designs, test cases, test plans, and manual procedures.
- Defines acceptance criteria, identifies defects, and defines and validates corrective actions. Assesses organizational readiness for the solution.
- Develops metrics and key performance indicators to align solutions with desired business outcome.
- Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes, and documents business rules, functions, and requirements.
- Documents current state and future state of processes. Analyzes and extracts pertinent information and data to accurately articulate it to the stakeholders.
- Analyzes policies and procedures for issues, inconsistencies, and gaps that have affect across the organization; modifies and updates procedures, including the development, testing, investigation, and documentation of processes.
