The Business Analyst 4 will support application development initiatives by conducting business and systems analysis, gathering and documenting requirements, participating in agile development processes, and performing application testing activities. The role works closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and comply with SDLC standards.

Role Description:
The Business Analyst 4 will support application development initiatives by conducting business and systems analysis, gathering and documenting requirements, participating in agile development processes, and performing application testing activities. The role works closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and comply with SDLC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct project initiation activities to identify business problems, objectives, and requirements.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for new applications and enhancements.
- Produce SDLC-compliant requirements documentation within established timelines.
- Ensure requirements documentation is clear, complete, concise, and aligned with agency standards.
- Assist in developing standardized documentation templates and processes.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and represent business needs during design and development activities.
- Create and execute system test plans and testing scripts.
- Perform manual testing of web applications to validate functionality and requirements.
- Document defects, bugs, and application issues with detailed reproducible steps.
- Assist in preparing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and testing activities.
- Facilitate meetings and document project discussions and decisions.
- Support business process analysis, improvement initiatives, and system implementation efforts.
- Extensive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, SDLC processes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting complex business and functional requirements from multiple stakeholders.
- Extensive experience supporting application development, implementation, maintenance, and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience defining and documenting business processes and workflows.
- Experience manually testing web applications.
- Strong experience writing and executing test plans and test scripts.
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking application defects and issues.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented development environment.
- Familiarity with web application development projects using .NET technologies.
- Experience documenting requirements using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Onsite requirement is mandatory with no exceptions.
- Contractors may be required to attend onsite meetings on scheduled remote days.
- Parking is not provided.
- First day onsite required for equipment pickup and badge activation.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
