This role will work alongside existing technical teams to accelerate the delivery of multiple enterprise AI projects.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer 1 to support enterprise AI initiatives for a Texas state agency. The selected candidate will assist in implementing AI solutions, enterprise search capabilities, AI governance processes, and AI inventory management. This role will work alongside existing technical teams to accelerate the delivery of multiple enterprise AI projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy components of the enterprise search platform.
- Assist with the configuration, rollout, and documentation of the Darwin AI inventory system.
- Support the implementation, testing, and validation of AI agents aligned with business unit requirements.
- Develop technical controls, documentation, and operational processes to support AI governance initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure successful implementation of AI solutions.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Document system configurations, implementation procedures, and technical processes.
- Support enterprise AI initiatives while adhering to established standards and best practices.
- Minimum 1 year of experience building and deploying enterprise search solutions.
- Minimum 1 year of experience configuring, deploying, and documenting the Darwin AI inventory system.
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting the implementation and testing of AI agents.
- Minimum 1 year of experience developing technical controls, documentation, and governance processes for AI initiatives.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and enterprise AI implementation.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Experience supporting enterprise AI platforms.
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and compliance practices.
- Experience with AI solution deployment and operational support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
