Pay Range $25-$29 / hour

Essential Duties and Tasks
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Fabricate or modify parts to make / repair machine, tools or maintain machines and minimize downtime.
- Applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and procedures
- Plan actions, steps, and activities necessary to produce precision parts to specifications using manual automated tools such as but not limited to lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders to complete the project or batch.
- Monitor, maintain and adjust process to produce to specifications.
- Measure, examine and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Record approved and defective units or finished products.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
Work Environment
Work primarily in manufacturing environment with some safety / health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision and other protection required when in manufacturing areas.
This role operates in a manufacturing environment. Employee may be exposed to non-toxic / nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot / humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing areas.

This role routinely uses machinist equipment with moving parts. Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands / fingers for manual dexterity, hold, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.
