Overview

AMP is seeking a detail-oriented Cannabis Cultivation Technician with experience with Clones, Moms, and Veg to join our team. The Cultivation Technician will provide quality care and attention to the growing process, which includes, pruning, trimming, and fertigation. It will also include cutting clones from mother plants, and ensuring their health and productivity until transfer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance of mother plans, and clones.
• Communicating with management with any issues that may arise involving the moms, and clones.
• Assist with various plant care including deleafing, manipulating plants into trellises, repot, prune plants, IPM management, assist with harvest
• Clean and sanitize cultivation equipment daily, weekly, monthly and as directed by the Cultivation Manager
• Thoroughly clean and maintain equipment, hand tools, containers, materials, supplies, and work areas, in accordance with the relevant SOPs
• Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
• Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information and policies when performing duties
• Maintaining quality control by visually inspecting cannabis
• Adhering to production schedules
• Weighing and processing waste material in accordance with state regulations and company policies and procedures
• Understand and follow all safety protocols, compliance and SOPS
• Adhere to company standards including maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism
• All other job duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Knowledge of large scale cultivation, including technical, veg, cloning, and mother care.
• Experience in indoor cannabis cultivation.
• Analytical skills, adaptability, problem solving and versatility
• Must be able to take initiative and be proactive
• Desired work ethic includes being detail oriented, highly organized, positive, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a good communicator

Physical Requirements

• Frequent communication with staff, management, and vendors
• Ability to reach plants on grow tables 4’-6’ above floor level
• Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time
• Must be able to handle labor centric work
• Must be able to work in a cultivation environment with moderate to loud noise level
• Must be able to work in manufacturing or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions. May require use of safety equipment or personal protective equipment, as needed
