Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Blaster Painter for a full-time, on-site position in Norfolk, VA. The role involves performing surface preparation tasks, such as abrasive blasting, to ensure optimal adhesion of coatings. The Blaster Painter will apply paint and coatings using various methods, including spray painting, while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Daily responsibilities may include inspecting surfaces, mixing coatings, and maintaining tools and equipment necessary for surface preparation and application processes.
Qualifications
- Experience and proficiency in Paint, Painting, and Spray Painting techniques
- Understanding and application of Coatings, Painting processes
- Ability to operate surface preparation tools and spraying equipment safely and effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial and marine settings
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks in various environmental conditions
- Previous experience in marine or industrial preservation is advantageous
- Secret Clearance required.
