Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitorial Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at 1 location in Barron, 7 nights per week is required. facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain restrooms by cleaning sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Conduct floor care activities such as using and maintaining auto floor cleaner to ensure floors are well-maintained.
- Handle commercial cleaning duties in as required.
- Assist with custodial tasks including waste disposal and recycling efforts.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of residential painting or porter experience can be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
