What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at AMP Architecture?
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Project Manager to support the Construction Team with daily operations on-site. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the construction industry and gain hands-on experience in site supervision and project coordination. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct site visits as needed to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project trackers to facilitate effective project management.
- Oversee the delivery of raw materials and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Ensure timely payment to subcontractors at key project milestones in coordination with the CFO Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of all project phases.
- Monitor project budgets and make necessary adjustments to ensure financial success.
- Ensure that on-site conditions align with project plans and promptly report any deviations to the Construction Director.
- Monitor project scope and any changes or additions to it and manage change orders as necessary.
- Work closely with clients and owner's representatives to exchange information, get approvals, and meet all project requirements.
- Develop and implement job site safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Purchase raw materials, equipment, and hire subcontractors as necessary to complete the project
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a construction coordination or APM role.
- Experience in Construction trades or a related field.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- OSHA 30 Certification (We are willing to provide training for qualified applicants who do not have this certification).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Construction managment degree preferred.
