AmoyDx (North America) is looking for a Clinical Technologist to join our Cytogenetics/ FISH team to perform laboratory functions for clinical testing. AmoyDx is a small, specialized lab that offers high complexity testing for hematology and oncology. We provide detailed, hands-on training, as well as support and opportunities for growth. Day-shift options for Mondays to Fridays or four ten-hour days. Potential for one Saturday a month rotation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and perform high complexity cytogenetic and FISH wet lab work
- Learn karyotypic and FISH analysis and reporting
- Perform quality control and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Adhere to standards of external regulatory bodies, including NYS and CAP
Requirements:
- Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with an Bachelors Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology, Medical Technology or related discipline.
- Clinical Laboratory Technologist License issued by the NYS Department of Education
- Clinical laboratory experience preferred but not required
