- Place incoming material into Arrived Status in MRP system.
- Confirm part quantity matches PO quantity.
- Inspect parts to Engineering documents standards and specifications.
- Receive purchase orders into the MRP system once parts are verified as acceptable.
- Will learn to complete First Article Inspections as required.
- Will learn to complete NCR's for non-conforming material.
- Work priorities when notified to support customer and/or production needs.
- Work with Quality Manager and Quality Analyst as needed.
- Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Quality Manager.
- 2 years experience in Receiving and Inspection of manufactured and purchased parts with the ability to learn receiving inspection.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the use of general metrology equipment found in a light engineering environment (includes height gauges, verniers, calipers etc.).
- MS Office experience required and working knowledge of MRP system, IFS is a plus.
- Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills; written, oral, and inter-personal.
- Knowledge of the valve, casting, machining, and PCB industry is a plus.
- Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks and pass certification.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
