Are you a reliable, detail-oriented person who takes pride in a spotless space? Amorino Gelato is looking for a part-time or full time cleaning professional to join our team at our Newbury Street (Boston) and Harvard Square (Cambridge) locations.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining our cleanliness and hygiene standards so our guests enjoy a comfortable, sanitary, and welcoming experience.
You’ll work independently during off-business hours, before the stores open, following our established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule to ensure consistent standards across both locations.
Schedule
3h Morning shifts
Minimum 2 days per week, up to 5 days per week
Shifts may be at either or both locations, depending on your availability
Weekend availability is a plus
Work is performed alone, outside of business hours
Responsibilities
Follow our daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule and complete all assigned tasks for each shift
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen areas, and dining areas according to established protocols
Clean and sanitize specialized food equipment, including the gelato display case, coffee machine, and whipped cream machine
Empty and clean trash receptacles and dispose of waste safely and hygienically
Dust and wipe down tables, chairs, and countertops
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to keep a clean, hazard-free environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Available for morning shifts at least 2 days per week
- Able to follow a structured daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule
- Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs comfortably
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working alone during off-business hours, efficiently and with minimal supervision
