We are seeking a strategic and results-driven LATAM Regional Manager to guide the company’s growing footprint across Latin America, bringing structure, strategy, and care to a region with enormous potential.

Role Overview:

The LATAM Regional Manager is a newly created role born from expansion; new retail doorways, rising Sephora partnerships, and a pipeline of brands ready for launch. Based in our New York office, this leader will oversee all commercial, retail, and operational activity across Mexico, Brazil, and emerging markets including Argentina.

This role centers on sales growth, account leadership, and on-the-ground retail partnership while managing local freelance talent and ensuring our brands show up with heart, precision, and consistency. You’ll partner closely with the APUS CEO and collaborate daily with the Business Development team to shape the next chapter of our LATAM business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial & Sales Leadership

  • Lead annual and seasonal sales planning for LATAM and own forecasts that support major launches, promotions, and regional growth goals
  • Shape retailer strategies with distribution partners across Mexico and Brazil, including assortment planning, promotional calendars, and revenue targets
  • Track sell-in and sell-through results each week and recommend actions to improve retail performance across key doors

2. Retail and Channel Management

  • Serve as a day-to-day partner for LATAM retail accounts, ensuring strong presentation, brand education, and on-counter execution
  • Guide retail marketing efforts with distribution teams, including PDP upgrades, sampling tactics, and digital asset needs
  • Review door performance and direct field priorities to support stores with the highest potential

3. Regional Operations and Supply Chain Coordination

  • Build demand plans with Operations and ensure accurate inventory flow for product launches, replenishment, and seasonal campaigns
  • Partner with Regulatory and cross-functional teams to meet compliance requirements for Mexico, Brazil, and new markets
  • Troubleshoot operational hurdles and align with Finance on margins, purchase orders, and market-level budgets

4. People Leadership

  • Lead and coach freelance sales teams across LATAM with clear targets, training priorities, and regular performance reviews
  • Ensure smooth communication between HQ and field teams and maintain consistent brand standards across all markets
  • Develop scalable staffing models to support future regional expansion

5. Cross-Functional Partnership and Market Growth

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Education, and Product teams to localize brand storytelling and support retailer activations
  • Provide regional insights that guide global planning, shade range needs, and future product opportunities
  • Support the development of go-to-market plans for new markets and upcoming brand launches

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in beauty or cosmetics with a focus on retail, sales, or commercial leadership
  • Proven success managing major retail accounts; LATAM distribution partnership experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading field or remote sales teams in multi-market environments
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese preferred
  • Ability to travel across LATAM without restrictions

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong retail acumen and understanding of the beauty consumer across Mexico, Brazil, and emerging markets
  • Strength in forecasting, sales analytics, budget management, and inventory planning
  • Ability to build high-trust relationships with buyers, retailers, and cross-functional partners
  • Clear and confident communication skills across cultural and language contexts
  • Talent for guiding teams, resolving challenges quickly, and supporting a fast-paced business
  • Strategic problem solver with strong planning skills and attention to detail
