Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Assistant Manager supports daily AP operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments. This role helps maintain strong financial controls, supports month-end close and audits, and collaborates with internal teams to improve efficiency and ensure a smooth and compliant accounts payable process.
Principal Accountabilities
• Accurately review and enter invoices into the financial system
• Process employee reimbursements in compliance with company policies
• Prepare and release timely vendor payments
• Assist with month-end closing tasks and AP reconciliations
• Support audit requests and maintain organized documentation
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and internal controls
Key Experience and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting or accounts payable experience
• Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience processing high-volume invoices and payments with accuracy
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
