Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, food safety standards, and wine or spirits pairings to provide expert recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process sales using POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests while adhering to sanitation standards.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
• Follow sanitation protocols related to food handling, beverage service, and general cleanliness to uphold health standards.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that promotes teamwork and guest enjoyment.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing orders and transactions.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips.
• Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.

Pay: $23.61 - $28.43 per hour
