Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring all details are correct
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments efficiently
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent customer service
- Experience in upselling and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities
- Background in hospitality or guest services roles such as host/hostess or bartender is beneficial
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are essential
