AMORE FOR DOGS SANCTUARY is seeking passionate part-time Animal Caregivers to join our small, dedicated team supporting the daily care and well-being of our dogs. This role involves varied shifts including nights, weekends, and daytime hours. Employees will work closely under the direction of the Sanctuary Manager to create a safe, clean, and enriching environment for the animals.
Responsibilities
- Handle and care for dogs with compassion and safety
- Clean and maintain animal living areas and facilities
- Feed animals according to schedules and dietary needs
- Monitor animal health and report concerns promptly
- Provide enrichment activities to promote animal well-being
- Assist with general facility maintenance tasks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in animal care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong animal handling skills
- Sanitation and cleaning proficiency
- Basic computer skills for reporting and communication
