Summary of the position:

The Senior Wealth Management Service Advisor plays a key leadership role in delivering exceptional client experience through comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and ongoing relationship support. This individual serves as the primary advisor for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients and leads the planning team, ensuring precision, collaboration, and consistent delivery of high-quality financial plans.
As a senior member of the practice, this position partners closely with the Leadership to provide wealth management solutions, mentor and guide planning staff, and enhance operational excellence within the team. The Senior Wealth Management Service Advisor the key decision maker for the planning team and is responsible for leading client meetings, overseeing the planning and implementation process, and proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and drive growth within the firm.
Essential functions and responsibilities of the position:
Leadership & Team Development
- Leads and mentors the financial planning team, ensuring alignment with firm standards and service excellence.
- Oversees workflow prioritization and quality control of all financial plan production, reviews, and deliverables.
- Provides coaching, technical guidance, and ongoing training for team members.
- Partners with the Practice Manager to refine processes, enhance collaboration, and promote a high-performance culture.
Financial Planning & Investment Oversight
- Serves as the key decision-maker in all phases of the financial planning process—from data gathering and plan design to presentation, implementation, and ongoing review.
- Leverages eMoney and other advanced planning platforms to create, evaluate, and manage sophisticated financial strategies tailored to client objectives.
- Collaborates with strategic partners and subject-matter experts to develop solutions for complex and advanced planning cases.
- Ensures timely and precise implementation of investment and insurance recommendations in alignment with each client’s goals.
- Monitors portfolio performance and proactively adjusts strategies to ensure continued alignment with client objectives and market conditions.
- Evaluates and refines internal investment models and practice-specific offerings to maintain best-in-class portfolio management standards.
Client Relationship Management
- Assists with the preparation of service forms (ex. beneficiary changes, ownership change, third-party authorizations) in advance of client meetings.
- Assists with the preparation of periodic risk management reviews for client meetings, as needed.
- Manages, monitors, and follows up on assigned risk management action items from client meetings.
- Serves as an additional resource to request illustrations/quotes for risk management solutions.
- Keeps advisors, other staff, and client informed on status of assigned risk management tasks.
- Serves as the lead advisor for assigned client relationships, managing all aspects of financial planning and service delivery.
- Leads client meetings, communicates complex financial strategies clearly, and ensures timely follow-up and implementation.
- Builds deep, trusting relationships with clients, consistently demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and expertise.
- Collaborates with Leadership on client strategy and ensures seamless onboarding of new clients.
Client Service & Practice Support
- Delivers proactive and responsive service within established firm standards.
- Maintains current knowledge of market trends, investment solutions, and regulatory developments.
- Ensures accurate and timely maintenance of Redtail CRM, eMoney, and other client management systems.
- Contributes to practice-wide initiatives and participates in meetings to support firm growth and client success.
Education, experience, knowledge, skills, and other requirements:
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of seven years of experience in a senior-level financial planning or wealth management role, including direct client advisory responsibilities
- Experience leading or mentoring a team required.
- Active CFP® certification required.
- Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 licenses are preferred.
- Insurance license in good standing.
- Demonstrated expertise in investment management and financial plan construction.

Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
