Operations Analyst

Description:

Support on-time delivery and smooth execution of sterile projects through cross-functional coordination, material readiness, supply continuity, and operational visibility. Provide day-to-day Manufacturing process transformation, analytics, and operational-readiness support for Amneal Pharmaceuticals Sterile Operations.

Essential Functions:

• Manufacturing planning & Execution: Coordinate production planning, material readiness, inventory, procurement tracking, and supply continuity for sterile operations. Align raw materials, components, packaging, and consumables with manufacturing and project schedules. Identify shortages, delivery risks, and schedule constraints early. Work with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and improve inventory and material flow.
• Data Analytics, Simulation & Digital Solutions: Analyze supply chain data and maintain KPIs for inventory, materials, suppliers, lead times, capacity, and schedule adherence. Use software or applications such as BEAM to simulate manufacturing processes, equipment, workflows, resources, and supply scenarios. Apply Excel, Power BI, ERP or MRP systems, and project-management tools to guide decisions. Improve data quality, automate reporting, and support system implementation.
• Process Transformation & Improvement: Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, capacity, and reliability. Design standardized, scalable future-state processes and controls. Apply Lean methods, process mapping, automation, and digital tools. Help teams adopt changes and sustain performance improvements.
• Projects & Cross-Functional Coordination: Plan supply chain readiness for equipment, facility, technology-transfer, validation, and product-introduction projects. Align requirements and deliverables across internal functions and suppliers. Track schedules, actions, risks, milestones, and decisions. Close readiness gaps to enable startup and routine production.
• Competencies: Analyze information, communicate clearly, and solve problems with a structured approach. Manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions in a regulated environment. Maintain accurate data and exercise sound judgment. Show initiative, adaptability, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintains accurate supply chain records, procedures, work instructions, process maps, dashboards, and project documentation.
• Supports cGMP compliance, data integrity, audit readiness, investigations, change controls, and corrective or preventive actions as assigned.
• Coordinates action items and communicates risks, decisions, and progress to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Supports system testing, data validation, implementation, training, and user adoption for new supply chain solutions.
• Occasional national and international travel up to 5% may be required for supplier, project, or site activities.
• Complies with all company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field - Required
• Master Degree (MS/MA) Master's degree or relevant in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field - Preferred

Experience:

• 1 year or more in Relevant experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, procurement, planning, logistics, analytics, transformation, engineering, consulting, or project coordination.

Specialized Knowledge:

• Supply chain planning and execution, inventory and material-flow management, process improvement, data analytics, digital transformation, and cGMP-regulated manufacturing practices.

Additional Requirement: This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
