EKG exam is required (study guide in Simplify library)
position requires BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
12 HR shifts , EOW, EOH
16 week contracts preferred

Job Description
30 Bed Unit
Drips: Cardizem, nitro, amio, cardene, dobutamine, dopamine, & titration.
Oxygen: Trachs, BIPAP, Hiflow, NO vents.
Chest tubes, JPs, NO Alines
Ratios 1:4 (higher acuity) but can go to 1:5-6.
Typically 2 patient care assistants.
Monitor techs available to watch telemetry.
Charge nurses primarily out of ratio depending on census and staffing.
