What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery position at AMN Healthcare?
Travel Labor and Delivery RN assignments offer 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts for a 13-week contract. You will work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, with mandatory float within Women's services and optional float as a sitter or resource nurse. No call is required.
You must have at least 1 year of labor and delivery experience and hold current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). Passing the electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) course proctored by the unit is required before starting; retesting is not allowed for 6 months if unsuccessful. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended.
