Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

This travel Emergency Department RN assignment is based in Riverview, Florida, a rapidly growing community in the greater Tampa Bay area. The location offers a relaxed suburban feel with quick access to downtown Tampa, the Riverwalk, waterfront parks, museums, live music, and an impressive dining scene. In this role, you will care for patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, trauma-related, and behavioral health emergencies. Core responsibilities include rapid assessment and triage, timely implementation of interventions, medication administration, coordination of diagnostic testing, continuous monitoring, and clear communication with providers. You will participate in stroke, sepsis, and cardiac alert processes and support safe, thorough handoffs. The Emergency Department is fast-paced and highly collaborative, with a multidisciplinary team that values communication, flexibility, and mutual support. Patient assignments and ratios are aligned with departmental standards and acuity to promote safe, high-quality care. You will document in the facility’s electronic medical record, follow established clinical pathways, and engage in safety initiatives such as huddles and debriefs. As a travel RN, you will be integrated into the existing team while bringing your prior experience and perspective.
