What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postpartum Nurse (Postpartum RN) position at AMN Healthcare?
Postpartum RN’s work in the unit of a hospital is the area where babies and new moms recover after birth. Although the length of stay can vary depending on the type of delivery and complications, most women with uncomplicated deliveries go home within a few days.
Education/Requirements:
*Should be available to submit a minimum of 2 shifts per week. Next orientation will be in November, starting at 7a for 8hrs at Irvine. Will need to meet with educator during day shift (Date will be the same week as 10/10, pending date) Cln will then complete 3 unit orientations at the location they were approved for.
Education/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
- You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
- RN‘s can only work with an active state license.
