What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Care Nurse (SNF/LTC RN) position at AMN Healthcare?
Long Term Care RN services can be necessary over the short term for rehabilitation from an illness or injury, or they may be required over the long term for patients who need care on a frequent or around-the-clock basis due to a chronic medical condition. Examples of skilled nursing services include wound care, intravenous (IV) therapy, injections, physical therapy, and monitoring of vital signs and medical equipment. LTC RN’s can work in a variety of settings includes camps, clinics, schools, and ambulatory care centers but typically work at Skilled Nursing Facilities
Education/Requirements:
***Must have ACLS and BLS from AHA. 2 years if Tele/LTAC experience in hospital setting and RN or multi-State License. PM shifts
Education/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
- You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
- RN‘s can only work with an active state license.
