POSITION SUMMARY – LCSW Assessment Specialist
POSITION DUTIES –
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeks
SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 7p-7a. Every other weekend.
SYSTEMS – Cerner, Meditech, LINQ
START DATE – ASAP

LCSW Assessment Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY – LCSW Assessment Specialist
POSITION DUTIES –
- Facilitates response to a request for services, including the initial response, the assessment, the referral process, the designation of the appropriate level of care, admission into services, and appropriate follow-up activity.
- Conducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documents patient symptomology, functioning, and needs, and provides information to the physician.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers promptly and courteously.
- Possess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention and EMTALA paperwork and processes.
- Maintains all pre-admission and admission paperwork with accuracy and completes all pre-certification with insurance companies.
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited school
- Virginia-licensed LPC / LCSW / Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- 2 years minimum of acute care hospital experience in specialty
- BLS
