Interim Director of Case Management Needed in Memphis, Tennessee!

The Position

• An Interim Director of Case Management is needed to provide leadership and operational oversight for case management functions within a high-acuity academic medical center.
• Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee a team of 32 FTEs.
• Key responsibilities include supporting system-wide standardization of case management processes, mentoring staff, improving engagement, advancing throughput and discharge planning initiatives, collaborating with executive leadership, and supporting implementation of an optimized case management model across the organization.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive acute care case management leadership experience within large, complex health systems, preferably in academic medical centers or trauma environments. Experience with Epic and Careport is strongly preferred. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active Tennessee RN license and CCM or ACM certification required.
• Progressive case management leadership experience in acute care settings required. Experience within trauma, transplant, or academic medical center environments strongly preferred.

Pay Details

• Pay Range: $150,000 - $160,000 annually. 
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
