A Maine hospital is seeking their next Interim Chief Nursing Officer!
The Position
- The Interim Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) will be responsible for the oversight of high-level nursing operations within the 25-bed facility.
- The Interim CNO will oversee approximately 250 FTEs and will be expected to ensure departments are appropriately staffed to ratio and will also be expected to work with senior leadership to ensure ancillary services are meeting patient care standards.
- Ideal candidates will be strong, visible, and compassionate leaders. Strong operational nursing background is essential.
- The ideal candidate will be technically strong, adept at change management, and skilled at building relationships with both clinical staff and leadership. A focus on accountability, action plans, and driving results is critical.
- Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Active RN license is required.
- Union experience is required.
- CAH experience is required.
Compensation Details
- Compensation Range: $210,000 to $220,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
- The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
