You will provide direct care to critically ill or premature newborns, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document all interventions using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

To qualify, you need an active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) certification, and at least 2 years of recent NICU experience. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification and proficiency in EMR systems are required.

Recommended skills include strong critical thinking, effective communication, neonatal resuscitation, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
