Travel AK TDY Registered Nurse - Inpatient Med/Surg jobs in Bethel, AK let you provide care for patients of all ages, including post-surgical and behavioral health, in a hospital setting that values cultural diversity and community health. You will conduct initial assessments, reassess every 24 hours, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.

To qualify, you must have completed a nursing program from a National League for Nursing (NLN) approved institution, hold an active Alaska RN license in good standing, and possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. A minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience is preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong clinical assessment skills are required.
Recommended skills include adaptability, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a critical shortage area.
