The emergency department features a 43-bed unit with patient ratios of 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track, utilizing Cerner electronic medical records (EMR).

Farmington is nestled in the scenic San Juan River Valley in northwest New Mexico, surrounded by three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and six national parks. The area offers abundant opportunities for hiking, kayaking, off-roading, and historical sightseeing. Durango, Colorado is just a 1-hour drive away, and Albuquerque, New Mexico is about 3 hours by car.
