- Accept first time traveler?: yes
- Skills required: cardiac rhythm interpretation and tele monitoring, vents/trachs and bipap management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, chest tubes, IV medication titration, EPIC
- Patient Types: respiratory failure, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, general post-op, CVA’s, ETOH, overdoses; NO craniotomies, major traumas, or major cardiothoracic
- Patient Ratios: ICU 1:1 or 1:2 based on acuity; PCU 1:4; may take PCU assignment in the ICU
- Floating: ED overflow, PCU, or Covington
- Charting System & Equipment: EPIC (experience required), Alaris (IV Pumps), Pyxis (medication dispensing)
- Weekend rotation: every other
- Scrubs: any color, no camo
- Level III Trauma Center 131 total beds (can flex up to 156) with 16 ICU beds
