The Position

• The Interim Director of Patient Care Services, Mental Health & Psych Services, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations throughout the department.
• Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and VP of Mental Health Services, the Interim Director will oversee approximately 200 FTEs while leading daily planning, scheduling, designated services personnel, and workflow functions.
• The leader will focus on refining policies and procedures, ensuring survey readiness and compliance, conducting analyses for current operations, and optimizing costs while improving patient quality and safety.
• Seeking an approachable and collaborative leader who is equipped to foster positive working relationships, enforce accountability, and improve employee engagement throughout the department.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Active VA or compact RN license is required.
  
  
  

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
