The Surratt House which later became a tavern is now a museum. The original structure was built as a plantation style home in 1852. In the 1950’s Andrews Air Force Base, home of Air Force One, was extended into the town of Clinton.

The Position
- The Interim Sr. Director, ED, CV, & Women’s, will oversee day-to-day operations within three designated units throughout the 230 bed facility.
- Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), this leader will oversee the Emergency Department, Women’s Services, and Cardiovascular Cath Lab/IR/EP with the main focus being emergency services.
- Key responsibilities include supporting staff/mentorship, reducing risk factors, readmissions, education, accountability standards, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Seeking an experienced, visible leader with a strong emergency background. Must have strong leadership skills while also being a compassionate leader.
- Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
- Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Active MD and/or compact RN license is required.
- Compensation Range: $185,000 to $195,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
- The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
