The Surratt House which later became a tavern is now a museum. The original structure was built as a plantation style home in 1852. In the 1950’s Andrews Air Force Base, home of Air Force One, was extended into the town of Clinton.

Interim Respiratory Therapy Director Needed in Clinton, MD!
The Position
- An Interim Respiratory Therapy Director is needed to lead and stabilize a busy respiratory care department during a leadership transition.
- Reporting to the Senior Director of Nursing Excellence & Resource Management, this leader will oversee approximately 21 FTEs and two direct reports.
- Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance with CAP/CLIA standards, addressing staffing challenges through recruitment, and building academic partnerships.
- The ideal candidate will be innovative, engaging, and have a positive attitude, with experience fostering academic relationships. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must hold an active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Five to seven years of leadership experience in respiratory therapy required.

- Compensation Range: $165,000 to $170,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
