Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono)

This Echo Technologist opportunity is based in Washington, North Carolina, a charming and historic waterfront town situated along the beautiful Pamlico River. Known as “Little Washington,” the community offers a scenic boardwalk, marina, and waterfront parks where you can enjoy river views, boating, fishing, and kayaking. The revitalized downtown area features locally owned shops, art galleries, and inviting restaurants, creating a walkable, small-town atmosphere with plenty of character and Southern hospitality. Washington provides the feel of a close-knit community, with family-friendly neighborhoods and a relaxed pace of life, yet maintains convenient access to larger regional hubs and university medical centers within driving distance. Outdoor enthusiasts appreciate the proximity to coastal estuaries and nature areas, while history lovers enjoy the town’s preserved architecture and local museums. It’s an appealing setting for professionals who value both quality of life and meaningful work. The facility offers a modern, well-equipped echocardiography and imaging department designed to support high-quality cardiac care. You will work in a collaborative environment with cardiologists, nurses, and other diagnostic imaging professionals who prioritize patient-centered care and clinical excellence. The department is structured to promote continuous learning and supports technologists in maintaining skills with evolving imaging technology and cardiac protocols. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiographic studies, including comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms. You will obtain diagnostic images using 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and Color Flow Doppler techniques, ensuring optimal visualization and accurate measurements. A typical day includes scheduled outpatient studies as well as inpatient and occasional urgent add-on exams, with workflow coordinated through the cardiology or imaging department.
