RESPONSIBILITIES:
Media Strategy & Planning:
- Develop comprehensive media plans that align with client objectives, targeting the right audiences across digital channels including programmatic, social, search, display, and video.
- Conduct thorough audience research and leverage data to inform media strategies and ensure campaigns reach the intended targets effectively.
- Collaborate with creative, account, and analytics teams to ensure media plans are integrated and aligned with broader campaign goals.
Media Buying & Negotiation:
- Execute media buys across various digital platforms, ensuring optimal placement and performance.
- Negotiate rates, placements, and partnerships with media vendors to secure the best value for clients.
- Manage relationships with media vendors, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery, and adherence to campaign requirements.
Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize campaigns in real-time, adjusting tactics as needed to improve performance and achieve client KPIs.
- Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular performance reports to clients and internal teams, highlighting key metrics and recommending adjustments as needed.
Budget Management:
- Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of spend across channels to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on media expenditures, ensuring campaigns stay within budget while delivering optimal results.
- Assist in forecasting and financial planning related to media buys and campaign execution.
Client Communication & Reporting:
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding media planning and buying activities, providing strategic insights and updates on campaign performance.
- Prepare and present media plans, performance reports, and optimization recommendations to clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality media solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Mentor and support junior media planners and buyers, providing guidance and sharing expertise to enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and account management, to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of media planning and buying processes within the agency.
Innovation & Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital media trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Experiment with new media channels, formats, and tools to keep campaigns fresh and innovative.
- Share insights and learnings with the broader team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- You have 5 years of experience in digital media planning and buying.
- You’re highly analytical, able to interpret data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- You have experience with media planning tools, DSPs, and analytics platforms.
- You’re an excellent negotiator and can expertly navigate and manage media vendor relationships.
- You have a proven ability to manage budgets and deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
- You’re a strong communicator, able to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- You enjoy working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You’re detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
