Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Maintenance/Handyman to join our team in an hourly position filled with numerous opportunities for growth and skill development. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our buildings and systems. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across building interior spaces, including minor plumbing, minor electrical systems, carpentry, and general facilities equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the office staff, property coordinator and tenants
- Maintain and maintenance supply list the company provides as well we provide a company van to drive.
- Carry out daily maintenance of properties, help with move out repairs, city inspections repair list, and potential evictions
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks with precision and safety.
- Maintain facilities equipment by performing preventive maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry repairs, and mechanical adjustments.
- Self Motivated on a very flexible schedule with a strong support staff behind you. We dependability, reliabilty and accountability.
- Support building interior maintenance projects including painting (residential or commercial) and minor carpentry work.
- Assist with maintenance painting projects to improve or refresh facility aesthetics.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles with a basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing,, and building interior upkeep.
- Great communications skills, ability to fill out an invoice from a phone
- Hands-on experience with general maintenance
- Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) supplies and understanding their proper application.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm to develop new skills is appreciated.
- Must have own tools, a drivers license and ability to be on work on time
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and document work effectively.

Pay: $25.41 - $30.60 per hour
