JOB DESCRIPTION
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating all chain and nicking machines, band saws, table saws, bench grinders and cold saws to meet customer quality requirements.
Primary Responsibilities And Duties
- Set-up and operate all chain and nicking machines, band saws, table saws, bench grinders and cold saws in order to meet quality, cost and on-time delivery goals
- Complete product and material changeovers
- Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program
- Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program
- Follows all procedures & work instructions
- Works to maintain a clean & organized working environment (5s)
- Able to work directly from production boards as scheduled
- Handle materials required for each individual work order
- Ability to work overtime as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
- Solid background in manufacturing quality product
- Familiar with ABW
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Solid background
- Must be able to work in the US
- Detail oriented
- Communicates effectively
- Works well within a Team environment
