HVAC Maintenance Technician – AMLI Arts Center (Atlanta, GA)
Looking for a new opportunity as a maintenance professional? AMLI Residential is hiring an EPA-certified HVAC Maintenance Technician. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced apartment maintenance technician or HVAC technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and ensuring residents enjoy a comfortable, well-maintained home.
What You’ll Do
- Perform general and advanced maintenance repairs, including HVAC troubleshooting, AC repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement
- Complete HVAC service, preventative maintenance, and system diagnostics, ensuring optimal performance and resident comfort
- Ensure all vacated apartments are restored to make-ready condition with strong attention to detail
- Respond promptly to service requests, including air conditioning and HVAC-related issues
- Participate in an on-call rotation (evenings/weekends as needed)
- Conduct inspections and assist with preventative maintenance, including HVAC systems, pool care, exterior lighting, and filters
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly manage tools, equipment, and inventory

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance, HVAC service, or building maintenance
- EPA Section 608 Certification or Type 1 and 2 required
- Experience with HVAC systems, AC repair, refrigerant handling, and preventative maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete basic to intermediate HVAC repairs independently
- Availability for on-call and weekend rotation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
