Shifts: 12-hour Physician shifts 7a-7p plus night
call
12-hour APP
shifts 7p-7a
Daily census: 15-18
EMR: EPIC
Summary:
An Emergency
Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a
strong clinical background and be able to provide high-quality care to a
diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in the
emergency department
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical
conditions, including injuries, illnesses, and emergencies
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Administer medications
- Initiate and manage patient care plans
- Provide education and counselling to
patients and their families
- Work collaboratively with other
healthcare professionals
- Participate in continuing education and
professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in
Emergency Medicine
- 3 years of experience in an emergency
department setting
- Strong clinical skills and judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills
- Ability to work independently and as part
of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality
patient care
Certification Requirements
- ACLS
- BLS
- Board Certified
- PALS
