Job Details
Large, fast-paced Wine, Beer, & Liquor store seeking a friendly, personable associate. As a part-time associate, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
- Registering sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers’ purchases.
- Organizing the stock room and maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Collecting payments by accepting cash, charging payments, and making change for cash customers.
- Verifying legal age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
- Balancing cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Maintaining checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom.
- Promptly unloading trucks and deliveries.
- Physically receiving and storing incoming products in a timely manner.
- Ensuring accurate product counts.
- Updating product pricing labels as directed by Department Manager.
- Assisting coworkers as needed throughout the store.
- Maintain a clean and neat store appearance for our customers.
- Complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other tasks and responsibilities assigned to you.
