Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mental Health Clinician located in Lawton, OK. The clinician will provide counseling services to individuals, families, and couples, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, and others based on individual client needs. Responsibilities will include conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with other team members to ensure quality care. The role requires a compassionate, client-centered approach to help empower clients to overcome challenges and achieve their mental health goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, and person-centered approaches
- Skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and tracking client progress
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members
- Ability to manage case documentation and maintain confidentiality in accordance with professional standards
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or LMSW/LCSW (Licensed Master’s/Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or eligibility for licensure in Oklahoma is required
- Prior experience working with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the ability to provide virtual counseling as needed
