In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their purchases. Your responsibilities will include operating the POS system, merchandising products, and ensuring a well-stocked and organized sales floor. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and the ability to upsell products effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising
• Assist with stocking shelves and inventory management to ensure product availability
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues promptly
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling accurately
• Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and suggesting complementary items
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus
• Supervising experience is beneficial for those looking to grow within the company
